Directions to and From our Building
Directions to 900 Palmer Rd. Cross Street is Kimball Avenue/Bronxville Rd.
Our building is in lower Westchester situated just north of the Cross County Parkway, between the Bronx River Parkway and White Plains Post Road to the east and the Major Deegan Expressway I-87 and Central Avenue to the west. In the following directions, we’ve usually given the exit before our exit so the driver will know that they are close. Remember that no commercial traffic is allowed on parkways.
From New Jersey
Tappan Zee Bridge -follow signs for Cross Westchester Expressway I-287. Get onto Cross Westchester Parkway. The first right hand exit on Cross Westchester is the Sprain Brook Parkway. Take Sprain Brook Parkway South about 15-20 minutes to Central Park Ave. South. This exit is immediately after Tuckahoe Rd. Be in the right lane. At stop sign, turn right. Go under overpass and immediately turn right to Palmer Road. At traffic light, turn right and go about ½ mile. Building is on the right after bridge over Sprain Brook Parkway.
George Washington Bridge – Follow signs for Henry Hudson Pkwy North – There is a toll on this road. This becomes the Saw Mill River Pkwy at north end of the Bronx – Exit at 5A – Palmer Road. This is shortly after Cross County Parkway. Turn right- east – onto Palmer Road. Go 2 miles. Building is on right after bridge.
George Washington Bridge – No toll, but traffic can be a nightmare. Take the Major Deegan Expressway I-87 north to Central Park Avenue (after Cross County Parkway in Westchester County). Go about¾ mile and just before overpass, turn right onto Palmer Rd. East. Go about½ mile. Building is on right after bridge over Sprain Brook Parkway.
From Long Island
Throgs Neck Bridge – Trip takes about 20-25 minutes. After bridge – stay to right. Follow signs for I-95 North. After about 2 miles, you will be in left lane after merge with traffic from Cross Bronx Expressway. Ease to the right lane and take exit 9 onto Hutchinson River Parkway North. This exit is right after Pelham Parkway exit. Take the Hutchinson River Pkwy. North to exit 13-Cross County Pkwy (only goes west). Take Cross County about ¾ mile to Bronx River Parkway – exit 6 – North. Stay in right lane. Road divides. Sprain Brook Pkwy goes left. Stay in right lane and exit almost immediately onto Paxton Avenue. At stop sign (Paxton), turn left. At traffic light (Palmer Rd.) turn left. Go through traffic signal (Kimball/Bronxville Rd). Building is on left.
From Whitestone Bridge – Trip is about 20 minutes. After bridge, be in left lane. Follow signs to Hutchinson River Parkway (only North). Go to exit 13-Cross County Parkway (only goes west). Cross County about ¾ mile to Bronx River Parkway – exit 6 North. Stay in right lane. Road divides. Stay to right and exit almost immediately onto Paxton Avenue. At stop sign (Paxton), turn left. At traffic light (Palmer Rd.) turn left. Go through traffic signal (Kimball/Bronxville Rd). Building is on left.
From RFK/Triboro Bridge – Trip is about 20 minutes. Follow signs to the Bronx. Take the Major Deegan Expressway I -87 north to Central Park Avenue (just after Cross County Parkway in Westchester county). Go about¾ mile and before underpass, turn right onto Palmer Rd. East. Go about½ mile. Building is on right after bridge over Sprain Brook Parkway.
From New York City
From the east side of Manhattan, take the FDR Drive north to the Willis Ave Bridge; bear left and take the Major Deegan Expressway I-87 north to Central Park Avenue (just after Cross County Parkway in Westchester County). Go about ¾ mile and before underpass, turn right onto Palmer Rd. East. Go about ½ mile. Building is on right after bridge over Sprain Brook Parkway.
Or, take the FDR Drive to the RFK/Triborough Bridge; follow signs to Bruckner Expwy North; take this to the Bronx River Parkway – North. Pass Cross County Pkwy. Stay in right lane to Bronx River Parkway North. Sprain Brook Parkway divides to the left. Stay right. Immediately turn right onto Paxton Ave. At stop sign (Paxton), turn left. At traffic light (Palmer Rd.) turn left. Go through traffic signal (Kimball Ave. /Bronxville Rd). Building is on left.
From the West side of Manhattan, take the West Side Highway (Henry Hudson Pkwy) which becomes Saw Mill River Pkwy at north end of the Bronx – Exit 5A Palmer Rd. shortly after Cross County Pkwy. Turn right onto Palmer Road. Go 2 miles. Building is on right after bridge.
From Northern Westchester or Connecticut
Bronx River Parkway South – exit is Desmond Ave. It is poorly marked. It is the next exit after Scarsdale Rd. After you go under underpass (Palmer Road), an entrance merges from right. Exit is here. At stop sign turn right. Turn right over bridge. Then make a quick left onto Parkway Road. Go straight about three blocks to traffic circle. This is Palmer Road. Go three quarters of the way around traffic circle onto Palmer Ave. Go through two traffic lights. The second one is Kimball Ave/Bronxville Rd. Building is on left. (If you miss Desmond Avenue, stay in right lane and get off at the next exit- Cross County Pkwy West. Stay in right lane and exit at Midland Avenue. At stop sign, turn right. At bottom of hill, turn left and go past Sarah Lawrence College and our building is at the next traffic light.)
New England Thruway I-95-South to Mamaroneck Ave – West -exit 18B- (after Playland Parkway exit). At exit turn right onto Mamaroneck Avenue West -go about 2 mi. Speed limit 40- not highway – to Hutchinson River Parkway South –
Hutchinson River Parkway South – follow signs for Cross County Parkway-exit 15 after exit 18. Be in left lane after Mill Rd. At road divide, you are on Cross County Pkwy (only goes west). Ease into middle or right lane. Go about 1 mi. Exit Bronx River Parkway – exit 6 – North. Stay in right lane. Almost immediately you will exit onto Paxton Avenue. At stop sign (Paxton), turn left. At traffic light (Palmer Rd.) turn left. Go through traffic signal (Kimball/Bronxville Rd). Building is on left.
Sawmill River Parkway – Shortly after Tuckahoe Rd – take exit 5A – Right onto Palmer Road. Go 2 miles. Building is on right – after bridge over Sprain Brook Parkway.
Sprain Brook Parkway South – our exit is just before the road merges with the Bronx River Parkway. Exit Rt. 100 – Central Avenue. This is immediately after the Tuckahoe Road exits. Turn right at stop sign. Go under overpass. Take immediate right – Palmer Road – up the hill to traffic signal. Turn right onto Palmer Road. Go about½ mile. Building is on right after you go over the bridge for the Sprain Brook Parkway.
Leaving 900 Palmer Road
The Bronx River Parkway is easy access to the Cross County Parkway for the east/west link going to most highways… even going north.
To Bronx River Parkway North – Go east on Palmer Road – toward Bronxville. Go over bridge. At traffic light (Paxton Avenue), turn right and go one block to entrance.
To Bronx River Parkway South – go east on Palmer Rd. toward Bronxville – go 1 block to entrance at stop sign – just before bridge.
To Hutchinson River Parkway – Go on Bronx River Pkwy. South to second exit -11E – Cross County Pkwy
East. Cross County Pkwy ends in about two miles and you must go on either the Hutch North or South.
To New England Thruway I-95-follow directions to Hutchinson River Parkway.
I-95 South -get onto the Hutchinson River Parkway So. After Co-op City, see entrance to I-95 S.
I-95 North – get onto the Hutchinson River Parkway North. Go about 6 miles to Mamaroneck AVENUE East. This is after Mamaroneck Road. Go about 1 mile to the entrance to 1-95. On ramp, stay to left. Don’t speed on Mamaroneck Avenue.
To Sawmill River Parkway – Go on Bronx River Pkwy South to first exit 11W-Cross County Parkway West. Go to end (about 3 miles). Follow direction to North or South(becomes Henry Hudson Parkway).
To Major Deegan I-87 – Go on Bronx River Pkwy South to first exit 11W – Cross County Parkway West. Go about 1/4 mile. Stay in right lane.
North – exit 4N – Central Ave. N. & I-87. You’ll be on service road. Entrance to I-87 is from left lane.
South – exit 4S – I-87 South. You’ll be on service road. Entrance to I-87 is from left lane.
To Sprain Brook Parkway North – go west on Palmer Road about ½ mile to Central Avenue North. Traffic may seem impossible and suddenly it clears. At stop sign, wait for traffic to clear and go across all lanes into left lane. Entrance is 30 yards away. Entrance is from left lane.
Public Transportation
TRAIN:
Bronxville is on the Harlem Line of Metro North. It is an easy train ride from New York City.

BUSES:
Visit the Bee-Line bus service at www.westchestergov.com/beelinebus to access schedules, maps and general information.
The #30 bus goes east-west from Yonkers to New Rochelle and there is a bus stop in front of our building.
The # 26 goes along Kimball Avenue to the Cross County Shopping Center (and beyond into Yonkers). There is a bus stop on Kimball Avenue in back of our building.

Parking near our building is usually available. Streets are cleaned once a week. Please check signs. Parking tickets are costly – $65.00. They double if not paid quickly.

On Ellison Avenue (see parking signs) – across from our front door.

You can park further north on Ellison Avenue, and also on Millard Avenue overnight
after 5 pm until 9 am.

Parking Regulations in Bronxville
Meters are strictly enforced between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm every day except Sunday.
Street parking is usually available. Have nickels, dimes and quarters in your car and be prepared.
Bronxville also offers the option of using PANGO, a phone app to pay for parking.
There are three parking lots – one on Parkway Road, one on Garden Avenue and one on the east side of the train station. The Garden Avenue lot is available to everyone for shopping or dining on Pondfield Avenue. The other two lots have limited parking available for non-residents of Bronxville so pay attention to the signs.
On the west side of the train station (nearest us) there are different time limits for parking.
On Palmer Avenue, the block across from the hospital, parking is only for 30 minutes.
